| No real point to this post except if you're like me you enjoy picture post. Pulled my engine this last winter for a bunch of maintenance and a few changes including: -New main and rod bearings. -Complete gasket kit except head gaskets(didn't remove heads). -New valve stem seals. -New oil pump(see pic for why). -Rebuilt lifters. -Replace ams manifolds with swain coated MSP's. -Strip and re-powdercoat ashspec ic pipes silver(they were black). -Install Ashspec planar inlet pipes. -Install adjustable intake and exhaust sprockets and degree cams to factory specs. -Install leader gears. -Install extrude honed upper and lower plenums. -RameyZ idler studs. Couple iphone pics in the bunch...sorry:

When I took my oil pump off I heard a rattle inside. Took it apart to find this:
No idea how long it was like that.
Cleaned up well for 186,000 miles:

My water pump bolts were rusty so I got a set of ARP bolts from BDE also:
BDE makes a nice alternative to the costly oem intake valve cover bolt/washers:

Had to heli-coil at least seven of the threaded holes on the upper plenum. Now I know why the guy was so anxious to sell me these plenums...jackass!
New timing belt covers and shiny bolts:

Running great except for a slight idle issue due to the crappy z1 tb's and my ecu not controlling the aac valve anymore. Need to borrow an ecu from some one to double check this.
